Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Planet

Our promise to sustain our environment:

- We provide bike trips and there we encourage people to use bikes as much as they can during a bike tour, other transfer services we provide with public ferries and our minibus.

- This trip takes you to protected and special areas on the coast to the historical and UNESCO protected towns, on the coast you will find green pine forests and hidden beaches, ideal places for picnic, for the rest or for swimming, please be sure that leave no traces, paper litter or any organic or inorganic litter can do changes on ecosystem.

- We suggest you to try local products, when you stop by the vineyards you can see how many efforts takes to build terraces wine yards on the slopes of the hills, take a chance and visit local wine producer where you can taste, buy some wine products and where you can learn more about history of making wine in this area. Terraces vineyards are not just in function of producing wines they also keep lend of the erosion, cycling there you can see how locals build dry stone walls and preserved fertile soil during a centuries.

- The food for our travelers in B&Bs is mainly seasonal and locally produce, mainly organic.

- On all our tours we use local products and provide local-style meals, and we encourage our guests to try local dishes and delicacies, as active travel agency we provide trips in off season (Spring and Autumn) when mostly our cyclist have a trips, on that way we make season longer and longer time frame we support local economy.

- If you buy some food for the road, picnic lunch or similar, buy local products in smaller eco packages whenever it is possible.

- Consider water waste when you take shower, flushing the toilets, on the dry Dalmatian coast water is very precious for the gardening and everyday consumption at homes.

- Take water bottle with you and use the tap water to refill your water bottles, do not buy expensive water in the shops, in plastic bottles.

- Whenever is possible turn off lights and air condition in the hotel rooms when you do not need it, in hot summer days when you leave your rooms for daily activities keep window shades closed during the day sunlight to keep your room in shade and you will spend less energy to cool it.

- Please be aware of open fire: open fire is extremely forbidden on the coast as pine forest can burn in a moment especially in hot summer months, even small inattention can cause fires on the coast and it destroy and damage huge part of the coastal landscape.

- With small groups and independent travelers we have very small impact on ecosystem and protected historical areas (old town of Dubovnik, historical part of Korcula town and Ston).
