Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

Firstly, we pay much attention to increase traveller’s awareness of environmental protection. When an enquiry is sent to us, our trip advisor not only helps to design your Tibet itinerary, but also explains the necessary knowledge of Tibetan environment production.
Secondly, we give every traveller a guidebook before leaving for destination, on which, our clients not only know exactly how to protect cultural relics in the monasteries and palaces, but also understand the importance to keep the natural relics and lakes from being polluted during their tour.
Thirdly, on the tour, our tour guides distribute rubbish bags to each traveller, so they can collect their own trash as they travel and later throw all of it to designated places. We believe we can influence travellers as long as we insist our value.
The Impacts of this Trip
As a responsible tour operator in Tibet, we understand how important it is to work in the field of tourism and help local Tibetan to achieve stable and long-term profits and improve their standards of living.
All our tour guides and drivers are hired from the local Tibetans. Firstly, we provide them with salary, tour allowance, insurance, travel rewards, and opportunities for in-service training. We also offer necessary help when their family members become sick. Secondly, owing to the apparent seasonal change of Tibet travel, so far this organisation has offered 9 months' work to around 40 Tibetan staffs from April to January next year, representing 30 percent higher working months than average in the field.
On this Tibet tour, you can not only appreciate the scenery in a flexible way, but reduce the impact of pollution, you also have a good chance to feel the real Tibet life when stopping by the villages where we support the locals by buying a drink, some food or some handicrafts when on offer.

1 Reviews of Lhasa to Kathmandu overland tour
Reviewed on 08 Jan 2020 by Roger Letch
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Being (almost) at Everest Base camp. The views and the countryside are amazing. The culture is strange but educational. And it's cold....
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don't expect as good a service as Exodus or Explore. Nor for the accommodation to be to Western standards.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
No
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A good experience but will not be doing it again, either in Tibet or with this operator.

Thank you for your comments.
Your trip benefitted the local people as we used Tibetan English-speaking tour guide and Tibetan driver to guide the group of clients to visit tourist sites. We use the hotel and restaurants owned by Tibetan. These brought income to local Tibetan and benefited local people.
We make sure no organic rubbish will be left around tourist sites. On the tourist bus, we prepare small plastic trash and hope clients bring rubbish to bus when they have it the tourist sites. The small plastic trash can on the bus is recycled. The rubbish is brought back to Lhasa for centralized processing.
Best Regards,
Leon
