Small group adventure holiday
Whether you are travelling alone or with friends/family its good value, and a great way to meet new people! While itineraries are pre-planned there is plenty of free time to explore at your own pace. This trip will appeal to travellers of all ages who enjoy meeting new people as well as seeing new places.Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

The accommodation used on this trip has been selected to support local people, provide travellers with an authentic experience of local life and have a minimal environmental impact. For example whilst in Jordan, we camp in the desert. Camping is a very low-impact way to spend the night because tents are temporary structures. Camping in the Wadi Rum is both an adventure and an authentically Jordanian way to spend an evening. Travelers will be treated to lots of tea and a delicious dinner. The desert wilderness is beautiful and needs to be kept clean so we aim to create little or no waste and take all our litter away with us when we leave.
We travel on overnight sleeper trains and a traditional Felucca sailing boat in Egypt instead of flying which minimizes our impact on the environment by reducing emissions. Feluccas are a relaxing and enjoyable way to travel on the Nile and are operated by locals. The experience also provides travellers with a unique and memorable insight into how Egyptians have been navigating these waters for centuries.
The Impacts of this Trip
We are committed to employing local guides and operators on this tour so that we can support local communities by providing business opportunities to local people, including using local restaurants and shops.
We visit a number of culturally different but exciting destinations across three countries that aim to introduce travellers to the rich history and traditions of the Middle East. Some of the key historical sites that we visit include the Great Pyramids of Egypt and the Ancient City of Petra where passengers will get the opportunity to explore these sites with professional and knowledgeable local guides.
Groups will be guided by a different tour leader in each country visited during this tour, local to that country. Each different tour leader brings their own unique and specialised destination knowledge being local and can provide more insight into community customs and make recommendations when clients want to eat authentic local food or shop and support small business owners. Our clients gain more insight into the culture, history and contemporary attitudes of each distinct country. In Egypt, travellers will be with an Egyptologist which presents a fantastic opportunity for them to learn about the ancient civilisation that built the pyramids and created the Valley of the Kings from an educated and professional local.
Where we include excursions and activities we work with suppliers whose values match ours when it comes to respecting the communities that we visit. This includes partnering with local guides and representatives who we ensure are employed under fair conditions, are paid a living wage and are supported when out with clients.
