Carbon reduction

Your holiday will help support local people and conservation. We must also reduce CO2. Learn about the CO2 emissions of this holiday and how to reduce them.

Our company employs professional tour guides that have great experience in guiding tourists on safaris that do not damage the environment. They make sure on this trip that our activity does not alter the natural behaviour or disturb the daily life of the animals. For example on day three, visitors will be able to view the movement of wildebeest from the Serengeti to Maasai Mara and from Maasai Mara back to the Serengeti. Our knowledgeable tour guides make sure this is viewed in an appropriate manner.

Eco-systems, especially in National Parks, are fragile and must be treated with extra care by staying on paths and trails and avoiding trampling the vegetation. As such, throughout this trip do not use motor vehicles that drive off-road, etc. Keeping on the road protects the vegetation and animals.

We use camp sites, hostels and hotels which promote green environmental practices. Keys Hotels, Bristol Cottages and Park View Inn are accommodations we provide with facilities for our clients that are environmental friendly and do not damage the environments. We prefer our clients to stay in accommodation facilities which use raw materials including water and energy, have waste management systems, and have system of improving the quality of their internal environment.

National park fees directly contribute to the conservation of the national parks we visit on this trip. Tanzania is a member of Convention for the International Treaty on Endangered Species (CITES), which protects more than 2,500 species of endangered animals and 340,000 species of endangered plants, prohibits the trafficking of animal skins, ivory, coral, shells and scales. We act as ambassadors of wild animals and their environments and we have been supporting initiatives taken by Tanzania National Parks in protecting these endangered animals.

Our company accommodates its customers in hotels, hostels and camp sites of high international standards and are owned by local people. By supporting accommodation facilities, tourism brings in revenue that directly impacts local community.

We further support these local communities that are surrounded by National parks by employing porters, tour guides and chefs directly from their communities. Our employees are well educated about tourism and we have discovered that our clients enjoy to be guided by the due to their knowledge.

Our preference when it comes to safari tour guides are those who originated from Arusha and Manyara regions because this two regions are surrounded by most famous national parks including Serengeti, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire national parks.

We provide an intelligent traveller's alternative to the myriad adventure safaris. We don’t miss the wildlife spectaculars, the so called “Big Five” - but you’ll see and learn something of the other five hundred as well and we'll never make you feel like a package tourist.
