Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

In our Paris, immersion in the French capital program, we try as always to limit the environmental impact as much as possible.

Paris is easily-accessible by train, one of the cleanest means of transport. To get around in Paris, the traveller of the 21st century uses public transport, as well as Vélib’, Autolib’ or gets around on foot. During your trip in Paris, you will every day enjoy some walking tours by foot, the best slow ways to see, understand, respect and visit the insides of the city.

The different included walking tours will bring you through 3 major old typical Parisian districts such as the Marais, Opera and Montmartre. Those strolls will show you the different magnificent beautiful architectures and history of different parts of Paris.
On your second day you will enjoy a traditional “table d’hôtes” dinner with a local host, a passionate cook wo prepares meals that are made of fresh regional and organic products.

We like to focus our guest’s attention on local efforts to preserve flora and fauna and we like to think holidays significantly contribute to raising awareness environment.

We have a strong ethic about respecting the places that we visit and their environment, we strongly encourage our guests to appreciate traveling responsibly by not leaving any rubbish behind during the tours.

At our office we also try to be as eco-friendly as possible, we minimize the use of paper by using internet, emails and for marketing purposes we also make use of websites. Our vouchers are electronic to avoid massive use of paper. When we have to use paper, we use the APUR paper, and our Brother’s cartridges are brought to the recycle center, which has a partnership with CoolEarth.

In this program you will continuously meet local people, starting with Isabelle your host and tour guide on your third day. Isabelle knows exactly how to show you the city like no one else. Paul will show you the insides of the Marais district and a traditional old spice shop. You will Enjoy a lovely, homely dinner at Jane’s who is a passionate cook. Her meals are made of regional and organic products, but most important to her, is to spend a good time with her guests.

In the program you Discover or rediscover Paris by immerging yourself in the typical Parisian lifestyle. Taking up residence in the charming guestroom of a private home, you will explore the hidden secrets of the top-highlights outside opening hours, and seek out the nooks and crannies guided by our local Parisian guides.

All guides in the entire program are true locals who work with passion and aim to protect cultural heritage and show you the insight of the beloved city. You will definitely get a deeper understanding of the area and leave with unforgettable memories.
We select local guides and craftsmen to ensure our activity benefits the local economy. Our guides are able to offer an insight into the local culture and are able to guide visitors to less known sites and unknown treasures.
