Tanzania safari honeymoon

“Celebrate your nuptials with a dreamy trip to majestic Serengeti National Park and the magical island of Zanzibar.”

Nairobi | Serengeti National Park | Zanzibar | Nungwi Beach

Description of Tanzania safari honeymoon

On this Tanzania safari honeymoon you値l experience the best of the bush and the beach, with time spent chasing game at one of the country痴 top National Parks, as well as days spent relaxing island style.

You値l start your trip at the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Founded way back in the 1950s, this 15,000 sq km wilderness is part of the same ecosystem as the Ngorongoro Crater to the east and Kenya痴 Masai Mara to the north, and is home to some of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on earth. You値l see families of leopard hiding between rocky outcrops, huge herds of antelope, elephants and wildebeest crossing the savannah and Nile crocodiles sunbathing on riverbanks.

Next you値l move on Zanzibar Island. A stronghold of Swahili culture, the island has played host to the Phoenicians, Assyrians, Greeks and Persians over the years and it remains one of the most atmospheric and fascinating places in Africa. Wander through UNESCO-listed Stone Town and you値l be reminded of the tales of One Thousand and One Nights; while the stunning beaches invite you either to relax on pristine white sands or get your kicks under water with snorkelling and diving adventures.

Carbon reduction

Your holiday will help support local people and conservation. We must also reduce CO2. Learn about the CO2 emissions of this holiday and how to reduce them.

Our team of staff ensure our clients adhere to these;
- Respect the privacy of the wildlife, this is their habitat.
- Beware of the animals, they are wild and can be unpredictable.
- Don't crowd the animals or make sudden noises or movements.
- Don't feed the animals, it upsets their diet and leads to human dependence.
- Keep quiet, noise disturbs the wildlife and may antagonise your fellow visitors.
- Stay in your vehicle at all times, except at designated picnic or walking areas.
- Keep below the maximum speed limit (40 kph/25 mph).
- Never drive off-road, this severely damages the habitat.
- When viewing wildlife keep to a minimum distance of 20 meters and pull to the side of the road so as to allow others to pass.
- Leave no litter and never leave fires unattended or discard burning objects.
- Visitors must vacate the Park between 6.00 p.m.. unless they are camping overnight. Night game driving is not allowed.
- We encourage our clients to carry their own drinking bottles to avoid buying many small plastic drinking water bottles that pollute the environment.

We encourage our clients to respect the cultural heritage of Kenya and Tanzania, never take pictures of the local people or their habitat without asking their permission.

- Apart from safari we use local guides to do the guiding for our local tours in different parts of the country.
- The community at Kitale is working closely with young girls to empower them. Our primary goal is to empower this community to be able to be sustainable.
-We don't have a particular project at the moment of our own. We support what the local community has in place. At the moment they are working closely with young girls in that particular region. Their focus is making sure the girls stay in school to ensure they build a better future for themselves and avoid early marriage. Sanitary towels are provided for girls who can't afford them.
- We respect the cultural traditions of Kenyans and Tanzanians, always dress with decorum.
- When visiting local communities, we pay the locals to do the guiding.
- We discourage clients giving handouts especially to the children in the community. Instead, we donate to a local NGO'S or CBO.
- For camping safaris in Tanzania and local tours visit, we buy fresh produce from the surrounding community.
