A sightseeing tour unveils the balance between old and new with a visit to the world’s largest fish market equally as exciting as the electronics district in Akihabara and the shrine to Emperor Meiji.

Away from the capital you’ll head to hot springs at Hakone prior to taking your firsts steps within the shadow of Mount Fuji – a truly remarkable natural wonder to be savoured on a tour of Japan.

As this ten day tour develops, you’ll experience the soul of Japan in Kyoto where tea ceremonies, Zen enlightenment and traditional Japanese accommodation provides a uniquely personal opportunity to get to know the real Japan.

After time spent at the UNESCO site of Koyasan where you’ll witness monks at prayer, Buddhist cuisine and an overnight stay in a shukub? (temple lodgings), you’ll head to the food halls and markets of Osaka’s Dotonbori district – also known as the country’s kitchen - before finally heading for home.

Responsible tourism: Soul of Japan tour

We are environmentally conscious and aware of its footprint and passionate about Japan. Therefore we try to reduce any potential negative environmental impact our holidays could have on this beautiful country.

Our correspondence with clients and promotion is carried out via the Internet, minimizing the amount of paper we use. When we searched hotels for our Japan culinary tour we picked only those hotels who have environmental responsibility program in place and employ local people. Before traveling to Japan we advise our travelers to take care of nature, control water usage whenever they can, and pick up all the litter that they see.

When we visit National park in Japan we take care not to take any excursions and attractions in which captive wildlife is held, except for properly regulated activities in compliance with local, national and international low. Any disturbance of natural ecosystem is minimised.
For most journeys during the tour we use Japan's public transport system as we are well aware of high pollution from car fumes.
