During your family adventure to Vietnam, you will reduce your impact on the environment by the way you travel through the destination. In North Vietnam, we choose to include a trip to the lesser-visited Bai Tu Long Ba, rather than the more touristy Halong Bay. This area is under a lot of strain from over-tourism so by choosing ethical suppliers who take you further from the mainland, we alleviate some of the pressure. Halong Bay is heavily polluted with rubbish from the boats so we partner with a boat supplier who actively encourages guests to recyle, reduce their waste and respect the environment.

We start our commitment to the environment from our home in sunny Brighton; using a strict recycling scheme in the office inclduingany food waste, encouraging the use of reuseable water bottles with personalised bottles for every member of staff and a healthy lunch provided daily, with no packaging in sight!

During your trip you will have the chance to get your hands dirty down on a farm in Hue. This excursion introduces you to a local farmer and his family, help with the harvest or jobs around the farm – even help prepare lunch from the freshly-grown ingredients picked from the neighbouring fields. You’ll leave with a better understanding of rural life here and help bring much-welcomed custom to far less visited regions.
