The Balkans small group holiday, bike, hike and paddle

Description of The Balkans small group holiday, bike, hike and paddle
This small group holiday of the Balkans takes you through the three countries of Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discovering them in three different ways, cycling, hiking and canoeing over a week. Starting and ending in Dubrovnik this fully supported, guided adventure holiday takes you to many spots well off the tourist trail after that.
We spend three days cycling along some of the most stunning coastal locations in the region, including the Konavle Valley in Croatia and Kotor Bay in Montenegro, covering between 60-65km every day. On the third day of cycling we end up in Bosnia and Herzegovina following the new Ciro cycling trail for the final leg into the village of Ravno. We also have time to explore the Popovo Polje Valley by bike.
In Mostar, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most historic cities, we enjoy a day of canoeing on the River Trebizat as well as taking time to visit the city’s many heritage highlights. We take a final transfer back to Dubrovnik for one last night, with plenty of time in this unique UNESCO city with a guided tour and one last group dinner.
Please note that the cost of this holiday includes your local expert guide, support car, transfers and hybrid bike hire. As well as 7 nights’ accommodation in 3* and 4* hotels, 7 breakfasts, 6 x dinner and six light lunches (often picnics).

Planet
We work with small groups, every area that we visit, stay or have activity is our common heritage, heritage that we use and share with others. With our minimum impact and interventions, our actions to keep them in the same conditions or even better as we have found them, that is our travel philosophy and mostly standard of our travelers. As tour company we try to be carbon neutral and minimize CO2 poluton our vehicles by using public transports (whenever is possible) , low carbon transportation. As active tour company we walk, ride bikes and paddle. Using bikes, walking or pedaling from place to place we minimize pollution and our impact in the wildlife. We encourage our travelers to use and drink tap water or if they have to buy bottled water it is better to use bigger packing and pour water to their own bottles. Small plastic bottles and cans of the soda drinks are very high at list of the trash in the world today. Water is also limited, a source that we have to appreciate and control spending.
Wildlife and ecosystem around us can have benefits or negative impacts, sometimes our behaving can harm wildlife and nature by leaving litter in the sea or beach, taking souvenirs (stones, shells or flowers...) this actions can have very negative consequences to the sea ecosystem, some endemic species and protected areas. We suggest to leave ni traces.
We inform travelers to be very careful with fire and to avoid open fire during summer, if they would like to go on fishing we suggest them to go with some local fishermen, if they go scuba diving we inform them about diving clubs which will take them to underwater archaeological sights which are protected and conserved. During their diving or snorkeling it is not allowed to take away anything from the sea.
