Carbon reduction

When choosing this tour, you are choosing a responsible holiday as we as a company we are committed on what is called Responsible Travel. We act inclusively towards local people and the environment and we treat our guests as travelers and not as tourists.

The communication between us and our guests is made primarily via e-mail and sometimes by telephone. You will not receive from us any printed material. We will provide you everything you need (vouchers, travel documents etc.) via e-mail.

In the documentation we provide our guests, we include information on the local ecosystems, the indigenous flora and fauna and the rural activities of local people. The nature of this trip is environmentally friendly, as it is a walking tour along very old footpaths; originally carved to serve the needs of the residents who needed to commute between settlements, farmland, vineyards and beaches. This is an eco-guided tour. Our tour leaders share their knowledge and experience with our guests in order for them to really understand the importance of the ecosystems they are travelling into.

No single-use recipients are used in our picnics; fabric picnic tablecloth instead of a paper or a plastic one, washable dishes and cutlets. Our guests should have their own picnic set. We encourage our guests to help us clean at least the spot we choose every time for our stop. We collect any possible garbage and carried them to the nearest operating bucket.

Our company promotes ecotourism and sustainable adventure holidays, whilst providing you a unique travel experience.

We strongly believe that local people are one of the important reasons we visit each place, and each destination is primarily their home. We do whatever is possible not to disturb their lives, their customs and activities and we ask our guests to show the same respect. Furthermore, we intend for our trips to be beneficial for the local community, culture and economy. We strive to educate our travelers about the destination and its local cultures as well as providing guidelines on appropriate behavior to minimize impact.

We work with local people: Our guides are locals and we select small family-run accommodations and taverns.

During this trip, our guests will taste a variety of traditional delicacies, cooked using locally produced ingredients. Guests will have the opportunity to be initiated into the secrets of the local cuisine and take lessons of pottery; which is the traditional art, under the guidance of local people.

Our guides and local partners with their expertise and knowledge on the area will make this trip and unforgettable experience for you.
