As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

Part of your holiday cost is paid as conservation tax and marine park fees which contributes to the protection of local wildlife. We also provide in-depth briefings and enforce principles on how to view wildlife above and below the surface in order that we can reduce the impact of our visit as much as possible.
In terms of consumption we aim to limit the amount of plastic and waste products used whilst on tour - refilling bottled water is highly encouraged, we make a local donation of £15 per original bottle returned at the end of each tour (i.e tour members have only used one bottle for the entire trip). We also encourage tour members to limit their usage of shampoos, laundry and cosmetic/cleaning products during the tour.
The Impacts of this Trip
We are using a number of local partners which not only helps us to create a special kind of experience but also benefits local communities directly. During our time on Bali we'll be eating at different local restaurants rather than confining ourselves to the resorts for meal times.
Local dive and tour guides are used throughout the tour and the resorts we use encourage employment and train people from the surrounding communities. Transfers and connections are managed by small local operators ensuring an even distribution of funds, directly benefits local communities.
Particular emphasis is placed upon employing local diving staff from the fishing industry. We also encourage tour members to 'buy responsibly' at local markets and Warungs (family owned shops). Traveling in small groups enables us to limit our impact in more remote and culturally sensitive regions throughout the tour, particularly in Komodo regions where lifestyle tends to be more primitive.
