Volunteer with NGO's in Rome, Italy
Description of Volunteer with NGO's in Rome, Italy
This trip can be tailor made throughout the year to suit your requirements
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
We are very concerned with environment and we have not only Social Responsible Volunteer programs but also Environmental Volunteer programs where we help local NGO's with sustainability, preservation, reforestation, fair agriculture. Our environmental programs are hands-on projects based on multiculturalism, sustainability and ecology.
During the program, we encourage travelers to move around the city walking or using the public transportation available in Rome. We teach every client how to use it and specifically how to go from the accommodation to the volunteer project. The place is different from client to client, as the house that is being renovated changes regularly.
We live our values and promises in our day-to-day lives! Through energy conservation measures, responsible shopping and recycling policies, we are proud to be actively reducing the waste produced and our impact on the environment. Our company is being certified as a B-Corp and compensate 100% of its CO2 emissions.
The main objetive of our Volunteer programs is to help the local community with their problems. By volunteering at NGO's the travelers can make a real difference in the locals life. They can experience the day to day, help solving real problems and get engaged with the community.
We only promote tourism experiences that respect local traditions and minimize social negative impacts. We preferentially suggest locally guided tours.
Through volunteer work, flexible working hours that promote a better work-life balance, and sourcing from local and socially and environmentally responsible suppliers, we strive to apply our values to our everyday work ethic as a company. Our company is being certified as a B-Corp and compensate 100% of its CO2 emissions.
