Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

We encourage our guests to reduce the use of plastic on our tours especially because we are touring fragile mountains, lakes, protected areas and natural wonders along the Inca trail. for this reason we provide them rain ponchos that we reuse in the future trips as well. We also provide company snack bags, and we provide boiled water so they don’t need to buy a plastic bottle. We also encourage our guests to pick up garbage on the trails.
All of our Inca Trail tours are aimed at enjoying nature, birds, and flowers whilst limiting impact on what is a well trodden route. Our guests can take pictures but they cannot take any flowers, interfere with the ecosystem, or camp in areas that impinge on wildlife's habitat.
The Impacts of this Trip
One of the main problems alone the Incas trail is the weight that our porters carry. during the briefing we will explain how we can reduce to a minimum the weight of our duffel bags. this we will help to create a nice and enjoyable work place to our porters that need this job to support their families and provide better education to the children.
All our porter they have a proper equipment, backpacks, full uniform, shoes, and necessary equipment to work. We also provide them insurance to all our porter to secure their safety and the family. This way if they have any accident their families will be secure and it will not-be affected in any negative situation.
Also we promote buying from local people instead of buying in big stores, so we encourage you to buy some stuff form local people as well. At the same time many of our suppliers are local people in the Inca Trail.
Local villagers from Huayllanamba they provides us fresh and organic vegetable for the hike, during the first day they provide us also fresh trout. This is really good since our porters they don´t need to carry extra weight
All necessary guidelines about how to hike Inca Trail, how to reduce negative impact on the environment, to the wild life, reduce water use, will be handed together with our Travelers Code of Conduct at the briefing.
