Description of Vietnam tour for under 30's
This fabulous fortnight in Vietnam takes travellers from tail to top on an overland tour that includes three overnight train journeys as well as plenty of time spent exploring in the major cities, historic towns and along the coast.
As you’d expect from a tour that’s designed for any travellers lucky enough to be under 30, cultural and natural sites come thick and fast with life on the Mekong Delta and the frenetic streets of Ho Chi Minh kick starting this trip as it means to go on.
Vietnam’s beaches are as beautiful as the noodles and spring rolls are delicious, and you’ll get to dive into both as you make the most of the coast, and the street food stalls, en route to Hanoi.
Hoi An and Hue introduce you to Vietnam’s fascinating cultural history before you continue your journey north via the limestone karst landscapes of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and Cat Ba Island, in Halong Bay.
Exciting, eclectic and an experience not to be missed, if variety’s the spice of life then this Vietnam tour for under 30s promises to be a real treat for all the senses.

1 Reviews of Vietnam tour for under 30's
Reviewed on 25 Feb 2023 by Sean Dunnett
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The trips from Siem Reap were amazing - specifically to the Angkor Temple complexes.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I would suggest bringing bug spray and hydrocortisone - I found myself being bitten several times a night. Other than that, really soak up the experience
because it does fly by!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The opportunity to visit and support local craftspeople was certianly felt. While I did not buy a gift/souvenir at every place, it was reassuring to know the money I was spending was supporting/ being spread over a large area.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I really enjoyed this holiday, especially the Cambodia leg.

During the homestay experience in the Mekong Delta, travellers will be able to learn more about local building traditions and materials. The buildings that travellers stay in are made by locals from locally-sourced materials including bamboo, clay tiles and coconut products.Travellers will also spend a night in a homestay near Phong Nha National Park. Our hosts have joined forces with us in the fight against single use plastics. Where possible they are no longer using single use plastic items like straws, bags and bottles. Our hosts also have a small rainwater collection system, which they use for watering vegetable gardens and household cleaning. They’re as keen to preserve their gorgeous region of Vietnam as we are.
We use local transport where it is safe, reliable and feasible to do so, and when this is not feasible, we use private, locally owned transport instead. We always ensure our vehicles/fleets are well maintained and fuel-efficient. This trip also includes three overnight train journeys, giving travellers an opportunity to travel like the locals do. Whilst it’s an efficient way to maximise time and sightseeing in Vietnam, we also like to include trains as a way to reduce the carbon produced by our passengers.

Nha Trang has become an internationally popular beachside destination. This has brought with it rapid development and the dilution of local Vietnamese culture. In response to this, we will now be visiting Tuy Hoa instead. Tuy Hoa has beautiful beaches and surrounding natural areas, which travellers will share with just a handful of others. We are working with local hotels and restaurants on ways to maintain their culture and preserve their environment. Our local suppliers in Tuy Hoa are looking forward to welcoming more travellers to their sunny pocket of Vietnam. Our local leaders provide travellers with a Vietnamese language survival guide when they join this trip. Words and phrases are listed phonetically as well as in English and Vietnamese. The leader runs through this list to help travellers become more confident with commonly used words and phrases. Travellers are able to be polite and friendly in their interactions with locals, using greetings like please and thank you to show their respect.
