Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

In areas where we can, we encourage our guests to walk to avoid using cars to move around. For example, in the Fes medina it’s best experienced on foot as you work your way through the labyrinth of alleyways. In Istanbul, there is nothing quite like taking in the cobbled walkways around the Blue Mosque.
It all starts at right in our office, where we have worked at reducing our carbon footprint making conservation and recycling measures. We support various projects all over the world to try and give something back to the places we visit through our Foundation.
The Impacts of this Trip
Morocco : Working with local Argan co-operatives for all our tours to Morocco is an important inclusion for us. The network supports local women in the area to produce fair trade produce for a sustainable method of earning a living.
Turkey : For guests looking to take home souvenirs, we encourage them to buy locally produced items. From Hand-Painted Iznik Ceramics to Turkish sweets, buying local helps communities to thrive on a life of continuing tradition and sharing that with guests. We also use local guides in Istanbul, those who have lived their lives in the city and have a real passion for it.
Jordan : As we hire local guides we can ensure that our activity has a positive effect so our clients be immersed in the passion of Jordanians. Our optional include snorkelling and swimming, which are nature based and carbon free. We communicate that clients should not damage or remove items at historical sites we visit.
