Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

Firstly, we have a strict rule in place for sewerage management. On arrival you will receive a full chart briefing where our base team will talk you through the following to ensure you completely understand our process. We ensure clients always use pump-out facilities in the marinas where it is available. If this is not available then we advise our customers to avoid discharging in busy anchorages and marinas. By pumping out as far as possible offshore prevents contamination to humans and bottom sediments/ coral reef inhabitants.
Secondly, the marine life is so important to us. When it comes to fishing, there is a law in place which we ensure out customers are aware of. This includes the govern fish catch size and the touching or handling of marine wildlife. We ask out customers to keep a safe distance when viewing marine life and to approach side-on after stopping with propellers in neutral.
The Impacts of this Trip
We strive to give back to the community and environment. To do this we’ve teamed up with a number of charities and non-profit organisations, including Sail 4 Cancer. To support this charity, we contribute £1 to every £1 that you donate.
Before you travel and on arrival at the bases we recommend local restaurants for our guests to eat out at to encourage local sourcing of food, this will be covered on the chart briefing as well as mentioned to the departure date so they can plan their trip beforehand. We also offer a pre-provisioning service where we buy local produce to sell to our guests. This is communicated within the pre-departure procedure. We ensure we are always building an excellent working relationship with the local communities.
Over 80% of our staff working out in the Seychelles are locals and are trained in full, with no differential between the training given to them and the UK staff. This will therefore includes health & safety, hygiene and customer service.
