Waste is one of the biggest global issues currently, with plastics and other goods clogging our rivers and seas. A reusable water bottle is provided to our customers on this holiday, as well as daily drinking water to avoid the need for wasteful single use plastic bottles. We strongly discourage littering of any type anywhere but particularly on our holidays when visiting fragile and/or historic locations and we ask our customers to bring their rubbish with them and dispose of it in a thoughtful way, for example by recycling.

Our suppliers are an extension of our own company and we have true partnership relationships and work hard to understand the full supply chain, not just our direct suppliers, but their suppliers... and so on. This ensures the quality of our experiences but also gives us more confidence in our supplier's values to be sure they align to our own. Our partner supplier for this expedition is a leading proponent of responsible travel in Argentina - includes the absolute minimum number of flights possible to reach the depths of Patagonia, uses vehicles that are adequate to the landscape to avoid excessive fuel usage, and we have we have made the arrangements to plant one tree for each traveller with each tree given a GEO location so travellers can see their tree online to understand how the flora and fauna have been restored.
