As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
With this itinerary we would like to show you a variety of regions such as the mountain range of Talamanca, National Park Manuel Antonio, the Cloudforest in Monteverde and the Volcano Arenal. Furthermore we will be at the Pacific coast and visit the Waterfall Nauyaca. We will visit these beautiful areas in a respectful manner with certified guides and selected, responsible partners for our tours such as surfing, horseback riding, ziplining and Rafting. This tour also includes support for different conservation programs such as the sea turtle conservation project or the rescue center where we offer our guests a hands on activity while learning about the importance of each Eco system and its preservation. We have planned this diverse tour to show you a variety of projects where reduction of waste and the conscious use of soil, water and electricity is a big topic for example at the sustainable farm you will learn about a family project aiming to become self sufficient.
With this tour you will travel to a variety of places and projects that directly benefit from your visit. Over the years we have become friends with many local providers and projects and are happy to include their project on our tour such as the visit on the sustainable farm or the indigenous community. Both experiences benefit a local family but also other members of the community through providing accommodation, food, tours or crafts. During our visit in Boruca you will be able to visit several workshops and purchase crafts directly from the artist. We also support programs by volunteering with (y)our work such as the Sea Turtle Conservation project or at the rescue centre where helping hands are urgently needed to prepare food and help with daily tasks. While working with the local staff you will be able to learn about the project but also their culture and food. As we will be staying at several homestay accommodations you will be able to experience a warm welcome, a delicious food and kind treatment from the ticos.
