Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

The tour is conducted in Perthshire near the town of Pitlochry which is surrounded by beautiful scenery and has changed little since the Victorian era.
The wildlife we will be observing are the Red deer, Roe deer, Red squirrel, Dipper, Crested tit, Red grouse and golden eagles just to name a few. As a qualified South African field guide, tracker and large game handler I am trained to approach wildlife without causing them distress.

On this trip we camp which is a low impact form of accommodation, if approached responsibly. You can also stay in a B&B if you prefer. We will remove all the waste that we take into the National Park and I will take it to the local waste site so it can be recycled. The body wash that will be provided is environmentally friendly so any cleaning products that we will use will not have a negative impact on the environment.
The ghost hunting aspect of this tour is naturally low impact and we will not disturb local people while doing our ghost hunt.

Perthshire is visited by people from both the UK and from all over the world and has always given tourists a Ceud Mle Filte (hundred thousand welcomes). Although most of this trip is spent in nature, there is time at the beginning and end to extend the trip and explore the local area. As a local, I am happy to recommend local guest houses and activities should any guest wish to make the most of their time here.

Like most places the local population want visitors to enjoy themselves but expect them to show respect to the local area. We will be respectful of our surroundings so not to disturb locals and visitors alike. I am a local to the area so you will be in good hands.

The Ghost hunts will be done at night away from local population so we will not be disturbing locals while we do our ghost exploration.

You can be happy in the knowledge that 5% of my annual net profits is given to PADS, a local dog kennel. Your money will be going to help abandoned dogs get kept safe with food and toys until they can find their new home. I have personally rescued dogs from PADS in the past and they take great care of their dogs.
