Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Planet

Cycling is one of the "greenest" ways to travel!
In this tour we cycle in a densely populated area, with many cities and villages. Our route try to avoid as much as possible the main roads and cities (apart of the cities at the end of the stages), following secondary roads and bike paths immersed in the nature.

On the bike paths that flank the rivers Adige and Bacchiglione it is possible to admire the local wildlife, for example herons and anphibians. During the boat tour from Padova to Venice is also possible to enjoy the wildlife of river Brenta and the lagoon of Venice.

Please note that Verona and all the villages/cities at the end of each stage have a train station, you can use public transport to reach the departure of this Holiday.

For a greener world, we are happy to borrow water bottles instead of using plastic bottles. On the ways there are many fountains with drinkable water where to fill your own bottle.

People

As a local tour operator from Italy’s North East, we aim to promote a slow way of travellng so our guests can discover all the hidden places in-between the main attractions of our territory.

We plan the itineraries so to avoid tourist traps. The bike is an excellent way to do it: we stick on bike paths and secondary roads, we reach small villages, countryside companies and farmhouses, which suffer (and love!) the fact of being located out of the mass tourist routes.

We sustain local family businesses (such as wineries, farms…). We can suggest you great places where to meet local people, eat in local restaurants and visit farms. Also, the hotels we choose are not part of big international hotel groups as we prefer locally run accommodations, true Italian hospitality.

On the road book you'll read good suggestions about less-known monuments, stories about local culture and traditional recipes. The roadbooks are not printed, they are only digital, in order to not to waste paper.
