Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
Planet
Manaslu circuit trek is a core nature and culture trek. We assure you that you will not contribute any negative impacts (soil erosion, deforestation) on the environment by joining this trip. We are always aware of the ecology is to appraise our clients about sustainability. Our policy of discouraging littering is when travelers enter a community, they should leave it looking the same, if not better, than when they found it.We suggest to all valuable clients to make bags as light as possible. Even if you are going on mountain climbing, mountain biking types holidays, please try to rent them in Kathmandu instead of carrying them. That will not only significantly reduce your traveling weight, but also you will enjoy a hassle-free flying experience.
The primary aspect of the environment is wildlife. During this trip, we may find some wildlife along the trail. We are highly alert and conscious about protecting these wildlife animals. And also, we are up-to-date and follow the wildlife regulation promulgated by Nepal Government.
People
People and community are a crucial part of the trip. We have our policy to support enhancing the personal skills of local people and uplifting the community. That's why we focus on assigning locals as trekking staff and crew members. Our senior guide always involves porters as an assistant to improve their skills while serving meals or briefing. In the off-season, we provide financial support for our porters to receive different training.During the Manaslu trek, we visit many Gurung and Tibetan villages. We highly prefer the local hotel. And avoid those who cook the meal and boil water for a hot shower. Our guide and local staffs encourage them to have local foods instead of outsourcing. Eating local foods and using local products gives a new experience for the clients and a good way of making money for the locals. From the Manaslu trek, you can buy an attractive souvenirs, such as woolen clothes, bamboo items, etc.
