Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Through our Impact Fund, you donate directly to local conservation projects in the area you visit, which means that the contribution you make has a direct impact on pressing conservation and biodiversity issues the region you visit has. You really do give back the nature that you visit and that gives us all so many riches. When you book your adventure, we will ask you to choose which local project to support. It's an easy transparent way to donate when you adventure and really does ensure that the money raised goes to genuine, well managed and useful conservation projects that are helping to restore nature and biodiversity. Our Local Partner has selected 4 projects that work towards practical and thoughtful local conservation. These include protecting the endangered artic fox that roams between Norway and Sweden and work carried out to grow and stabilise the critically endangered Muskox. A magnificent beast that has roamed the earth for centuries and urgently needs protection.People
Our adventures are created by bringing together small scale suppliers of amazing food, drink accommodation and activities. All our suppliers are set in the heart of their communities and are not part of a large corporate organisation. This means that the income generated from your stays in the community and is not extracted to a large business many miles away that does not invest in the area. We advise our suppliers on a fair price for their work to help ensure they are paid a sustainable level of income. Our model creates high quality local employment and really does mean the money earnt says in the communities and during your adventure you eat with very carefully chosen local restaurants and suppliers (like the small scale dairy farmer and smoke house that you will visit) who share the same ethos of sound sourcing of local ingredients and respect for all elements of production and those involved. We at Slow Adventure and our suppliers believe passionately that conviviality is key to nurturing our food and enjoying it.Popular similar holidays
