Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your holiday will help support conservation and local people.

With beautiful valleys and mountainous areas to explore as well as historical monasteries to discover, there is ample opportunity for clients to discover areas of Armenia on foot. By taking a city walking tour or a stroll thorough the stunning green landscapes on this itinerary, clients can not only better appreciate Armenia's natural surroundings but also know that they are reducing the harmful impact of using vehicles in some of these more peaceful and remote areas.
The Impacts of this Trip
By incorporating home-stays, locally owned hotels, restaurants and the services of guides into our itineraries, we ensure that money goes directly into the local economy and local communities benefit from tourism.
On all our trips we endeavour to use local accommodation that will benefit the communities we visit and this Armenia trip is no different. Whilst all our tailor-made trips can be modified to suit our clients’ preferences, the accommodation we offer on this trip is all small locally owned boutique hotels and guesthouses meaning that all revenue goes directly into the pockets of the local communities. Some of the accommodation options are located near to local craft workshops where our clients are encouraged to purchase their souvenirs and support the local trades.
What's more, on this trip we recommend staying at the Villa Delenda in Yeravan where a portion of the hotel’s income is used to support an art school and a craft centre in neighbouring towns for families who were affected by the 1988 earthquake. Through ventures like this we can be sure that our tourism is direct benefit and will have a lasting positive impact on the communities we visit.
