Our favorite walking day was the foothills of Hochkonig. This is one of the most amazing hikes we have ever done. We loved our challenging final day to the peak of Mount Jenner. (more)Anna Norris
Climbing high up into the mountains and seeing stunning views all around was the most memorable. A fantastic new experience for me and my 15 year old son. We will definitely do it again. (more)Maeve Jenkinson
The scenery throughout the trip was wonderful and the most impressive was that everyday the trails were different from the others. Being a fairly small area it was not the same scenery everyday which is something we did not expect. (more)Dylia Sasso

And always have some disposable rain ponchos! Local benefits? I stayed in BnB’s so I suppose that benefited local people as they owned them? I don’t feel the environmental impact was lowered,... Memorable parts? A really good set of walks, not by any means easy on some days, but never over-taxing. Tips? The route guide you collect at the first hotel is better than the one sent in advance. Nearly every night we stayed in a different hotel from where we had dinner and you need to realsie this at the start. Local benefits? We stayed and dined locally and brought a lot more into the local area that the Danube cruise ships! Overall rating? Excellent (more)David Edmonds
