We enjoyed getting out into the countryside on the walks. Since we were towards the end of the season, most of the time we were the only ones on the trails. The area was spectacularly beautiful, so everywhere we went had amazing views. We liked staying in small B&Bs. Each one had an interesting history. (more)Robin Melvin

Memorable parts?
It was a wonderful week and all the activities were exciting and fun. Being able to leave the hotel to go straight on the river for Stand up Paddle boarding in clear 'cold' water was an excellent way to get used to the water. Both Kayaking days were exhilarating working for young and old alike with good options to take the cascades, jump them or walk down. Memorable parts?
There were so many it's hard to know where to start but the beginning has to be hospitality of Zoran and Blazenca who were our hosts for the week. They are engaging, caring people who went out of their way to make out holiday truly wonderful. The staff who work for them are equally good in making sure that we were well looked after.

Tips?
Not an awful lot to do, it was the perfect place to relax after Dubrovnik. We just sat and admired the view and drank wine in the evening watching the sunset. Can't use high power electrical devices like hairdryers - Phone chargers ok.
Local benefits?
Yes definitely. Solar powered electricity. Lots of local produce for sale.
