    Memorable parts? Almost everything we saw in Georgia was memorable and exciting! Tips? Ladies, take a skirt for the churches and monasteries. Local benefits? We certainly managed to visit individuals in their homes and bring a little benefit,and this was always very interesting. I'd like to be able to w a l k to a restaurant where possible.     Memorable parts? The friendliness of the local people, in all three countries, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. I was happy to see many efforts at preserving local buildings, e.g. churches and monasteries, especially after the Russian occupation which closed (even destroyed), places of worship. The guides for both the Armenian and especially the Georgian sections were very knowledgeable and helpful.
