Just about everything was memorable. But traveling through and swimming in the wadis and canyons would be the top highlight. A one hundred percent success, things went very smoothly. I hope I will do many more holidays with the company. (more)Oliver Grumitt
All of Oman was amazing and a wonderful country to visit ...but I especially loved being in the mountains at Wadi Bani Awf, with stunning scenery and incredible views. (more)Frances Hastings
Watching the turtles at Ras el Jinz after dark and before dawn - both adult female turtles laying and baby turtles hatching and scurrying to the sea. Such a privilege to be part of this. (more)Martin Bigg

The five day trip to the mountains. The scenery was wonderful and the guide and driver that we had made it even more memorable because they were such lovely people. They treated us as friends and really added to the trip. Fantastic. Amazing varied scenery, friendly hospitable people. Excellent hosts. (more)Frank Wellgate

Memorable parts? Traveling through and camping in the Omani desert was the most memorable part of the trip for me. I have crossed the Sahara twice as well as the Gobi Desert but the sand dunes of Oman are even more beautiful and interesting. Tips? As the trip doesn't have much free time in Muscat I would suggest arriving a day earlier or staying one day more that is NOT a Friday so that you can see some of the museums of Muscat. Local benefits? I don't think the trip had... (more)Nancy Wiesenfeld

Memorable parts? The desert, mountains and hospitality in Oman. Tips? Distances are long in Muscat so make sure you book a hotel with a convenient location. We made a tailor-made contract with the operator. However, the tour was subcontracted to a local travel agent - not ideal when problems arise!
