The route provided a wonderful variety of scenery, and each town and hotel has its own unique character. The support was excellent. (more)Aaron Coleman
The trek was well organised and went mostly to plan. The hotels and guest houses were all good, especially the small ones. (more)Joan Payne
Whilst all the accommodation was great we particularly enjoyed the hospitality and personal touch from the 'homestays'. (more)Sue Podmore

Scenery - simply stunning. The weather was kind to us and we got bright sharp days of sun and snow to see the mountains and forests. Staying with local people and enjoying their hospitality in some simple but homely settings. We even used a local's horse drawn sledge to get part way to the next village. (more)Ian Papworth

Memorable parts? The best experience was getting off the beaten path and seeing the regional landscapes, meeting local people and getting to know the culture of the area. Our guide was a local who knew people along the way, was very familiar with the history and culture of the area, and knew the trails first hand. Tips? Local benefits? Yes. We stayed and ate in local guesthouses. Overall rating? Excellent. (more)Tom Utic
