    Memorable parts? All of the trip was fantastic, but meeting the Gorillas was mind blowing. Tips? Make sure you are reasonably active. There were two ladies in their late 50's and our Gorilla Trek lasted around 6 hours. Bring a head torch with you. Local benefits? The holiday definitely benefited local people as it gives them a change to interact with people they would normally never see i.e. the Pygmy people. Overall rating? 11 out of 10.     Memorable parts? Gorilla Tracking was just outstanding. Many other highlights of the tour (camping in the Serengeti, visit of local villages, rafting the Nile) were also great. Tips? Prepare for long truck, bus and jeep rides, bring maybe a sleeping pillow or similar. Mattress is not necessary and a sleeping bag just for two nights, so don't bother to waste too much space for this. Hiking boots for the gorillas are a must. Don't miss out on the Pygmy village!
