Memorable parts? Although the three cities seen in Ukraine (Odessa, Lviv, Kiev) were all beautiful, Transnistria and Chernobyl were the most unique and consequently the most memorable. Tips? Be sure to book Chernobyl (optional day tour) in advance if interested. Local benefits? Not particularly, though I certainly don't think it was harmful in any of those areas. Overall rating? Highly - the trip was very much as I expected and I was fully satisfied. (more)Matthew Cohen

Memorable parts? Learning about the timeline of the disaster whilst being in the area. Tips? Take a good camera and be prepared to have a complete sensory overload. Local benefits? I'm not sure how much it benefited the local people or the environment, it does make you think about the environment and how we damage it. Overall rating? This was a brilliant trip, so much better than I was expecting. (more)Vince Payne

The "banya" Russian style sauna was fantastic. Running out of the sauna having vodka and salo and running back into the sauna was a great experience. (more)Anil Kashyap
