Most memorable was Torres del Paine national park and climbing to the base of the granite peaks - something I'd dreamed about doing for years. Battling the Patagonian winds to stand on the beach photographing icebergs. Clinging on for life as we raced down the rapids white water rafting in the Lake District. (more)Ruth Edwards
The leader of the group was very well organised and had the patience of a saint. He got to know each of us and worked hard to ensure we had the holiday we expected (more)Elizabeth Caldwell
Guyanas adventure holiday, off the beaten track
From

Memorable parts? Angels Falls Tips? Local benefits? Overall rating? It was a very good tour. I enjoyed all of it. The only thing is that the tour could have been a few days shorter, and then it would have been easier to be away from the office. It was not necessary with 3 nights in the interior of Guyana, 1 or 2 nights would have been enough. (more)Annie Krefting
Oman highlights tour
From
£2,795

Memorable parts? Meeting with our Omani guides and getting so much information from them. Staying in the most amazing hotel- alila hotel, jebel akhdar with stunning architecture. Scenery, views and walking were amazing. Tips? Good cover for women at the mosques but otherwise fairly relaxed for westerners. Local benefits? Some local people, not sure who owned hotels. Mass tourism does not reduce environmental impact, nor does it support conservation however hard we try. The... (more)Anne Tunwell
Morocco Atlas & Sahara 4WD tour
From
US $2,600

Memorable parts? The whole trip was memorable and exciting. We experienced the Sahara in all it's glory, the majestic High Atlas, gorges, high mountain passes and tiny villages where the local people live and work in the fields as they have done for centuries. The itinerary was full of highlights. The time spent in the desert was particularly memorable. Most tours take you to the edge of the Sahara late in the day so you can 'overnight' there and then you are taken back to 'civilisation'... (more)Marilyn Wane

Climbing the 'Singing Sand Dunes' (Khongoryn Els) at sunset was amazing! It was a big effort to make it to the top, but we were rewarded with once-in-a lifetime views over the vast sand dunes and Gobi Desert while mother nature turned on a spectacular pink and purple hue. (more)Lynette Smith
The space and serenity of Mongolia. And watching sunrise and sunset caily in front of your eyes. (more)Kat Kassim

The landscapes of Mongolia and the night sky. (more)Judith Petrie
Excellent. Very well organised. Guides knew their stuff and were always helpful and cheerful. It was a tremendous experience and I would love to go again - maybe to a different part of this huge and empty country. (more)Theresa Partington

We enjoyed the whole experience but particularly enjoyed the Chobe River trip, because we saw such a variety of wildlife at close quarters. The plane trip over the Okavango Delta was also a highlight because it gave a wonderful overview of the area. (more)Richard Humphrys
The Okavango Delta was incredible, but so was Victoria Falls, Etosha game drives, Dune 45 - and of course the quad biking! All of it was terrific! I absolutely loved every minute of it! (more)Patricia (Pat) Ruble

National Parks holidays in America

Memorable parts? There were so many highlights! Perhaps the most memorable was the sunset in Monument Valley, the light made the rock glow. The tour leader was also excellent - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, but reactive to the views and wishes of the travellers, anticipating our preferences. Tips? Be prepared for extremes of temperature - cool and cloudy in San Francisco, extremely hot and dry in Vegas. Local benefits? Clearly using local accommodation, often not owned by... (more)Ian Roberts
Kamchatka holidays, small group tour
From
£1,799

Memorable parts? There were many great moments. Our group seemed to gel very well, and the Russian team were terrific (although admittedly we had to get the first guide removed after day 3). I loved the rafting section, close to the bears and so peaceful. Shame about the rain. The lunar base camp and Dead Forest were extraordinary. Weather precluded a trip to the Valley of the Geysers, instead we helicoptered to Kuril Lake: what a day! The pilot descended into a volcano crater on the return... (more)Alastair Giddings

Brilliant! Most places we stayed in were run by local people and I made sure I bought all my souvenirs from a craft cooperative. (more)Una Carter
Fantastic. Cannot recommend the agent highly enough. They listened so carefully to what we were looking for, and tailored the itinerary and accommodation perfectly. As such it was a brilliant mixture of wildlife, walking, landscapes, relaxation and adventure. (more)Jemima Jewell

The trip to the wilderness cabin was great fun. Really enjoyable to be able to spend the night out there.
