Wild Atlantic Fitness offers one day, weekend and week-long retreats to re-energize and reinvigorate your passion for being the best possible you. Spend some time on the beautiful Donegal Coast with like minded people. Every day is different and will cater for all areas of health and wellbeing to ensure that you return to your daily life with a fresh focus and zest for life. Each day brings a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities such as daily boot camps, yoga classes, surfing lessons and hikes. We welcome all levels of fitness. All activities have been programmed by a professional Strength and Conditioning coach to include a mixture high intensity and low impact sessions. This ensures that your energy levels stay high and you get the maximum benefit from the retreat. Our trainers are highly skilled and will ensure that you learn how to move and perform resistance exercises safely, equipping you with the tools to continue your fitness journey at home.

Economic responsibility

We ensure that local economies benefit from our business by using locally-owned accommoda-tion, employing local people as our professional instructors, working with local operators and sup-pliers, sourcing food from locally-owned stores and eating and drinking in local bars and restau-rants. In doing so, we are not only investing in local communities but also offering our travellers a genuine insight into our country and its people.
Wild Atlantic Fitness uses local operators, representatives and specialist coaches. This ensures knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff, thorough guiding and support of local individuals and busi-nesses.

Environmental responsibility

Travel to national parks and wildlife areas can bring positive economic benefits as entrance fees contribute to the maintenance and conservation of local flora and animal species, while visitors benefit from the educational aspects of the area and take away with them an increased awareness of the need and place for conservation. Wild Atlantic Fitness instructors and drivers are expected to adhere to the following guidelines when visiting areas with delicate natural environments and when interacting with wildlife, whether at national parks or reserves.
Stick to roads and established paths, keep to speed limits and do not drive the truck off road except in the case of emergency
Park in allocated spaces, or if forced to find a new space, avoid damaging local flora and fauna this can take years to regenerate
Follow the instructions of local guides regarding appropriate conduct
Maintain the legal distance from animals, as instructed by your local expert guide
Do not feed or touch the birds or animals
Turn off your flash when taking photographs and avoid shining lights directly at animals or in their eyes at night
Do not attempt to bring home any rocks or stones or other souvenirs of the location
Wild Atlantic Fitness aims to 'take only photos and leave only footprints' wherever we visit.
