Come and learn traditional crafts in the Highlands of Scotland. We run Natural Dyeing and Felt-making courses from Crochail woods, which is 100 acres of managed woodland, with views across Strathglass and glen Affric with Loch Ness just down the road. A stunning area perfect for getting creative. Our craft courses are quite unique, as we try and do as much as possible outside, whether that is making traditional dyes over an open fire or working your felt, looking across at the mountains. Scotland traditional crafts holiday, dye to hand spin

We combine learning a new skill and having a holiday in a beautiful location to create a unique week. Our Dye to Spin week is run from Crochail woods which is 100 acres of managed woodland over looking Strathglass and Glen Affric, tens miles West of Loch Ness. The woods are the perfect location to start the course as we spend most of the first half of the week outdoors; watching our Shetland sheep being hand sheared, sorting and washing the fleece, picking dye plants, making natural dyes and dyeing our fleece over outdoor fires.
