Reviews for Amalfi to Sorrento walking holiday in Italy

review 7 Oct 2014

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The views and location by far - and with only a few exceptions the friendliness of the people and their willingness to speak English without any hint of frustration by your lack of Italian. The Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento deserves a special mention for its first class service across the board but particularly for its restaurant.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Do not hesitate if you have the footwear for demanding terrain. The walking guide is detailed and comprehensive - it is wise to read and ensure you understand every word used for it means exactly what it says.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

They must surely have benefited financially.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Outstanding organisation, including administration, transport and walking guide. An excellent mix of hotels, with the 3 star Albertina in Positano outshining the 4* in Marina De Cantone.
