1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The doable yet challenging (for me) walks combined with cultural learning. Experiencing the remote villages, lifestyle and food in local accommodation. Sharing it with two terrific guides and a small group of companionable people.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Pack light, take a hat and a good pair of boots and be prepared to soak up a the traditional culture and the magnificent vistas Romania has to offer.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I would like to think it did via the local accommodation etc.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Wonderful. Exceeded my expectations. In particular, the English guide Carly Fillis, really encouraged and supported my participation in all the walks and worked effectively as a team with the knowledgeable local guide, Smaranda.Holiday Reviews
