Reviews for Holiday in Argentina, glaciers, falls & tango
Nicola Lindsey review 25 Nov 2014
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
So many highlights: tango in Buenos Aires, the unforgettable Iguazu Falls; but for me Patagonia and particularly the Perito Merino glacier was the outstanding memory of the trip. Nature in raw, exquisite and awe-inspiring beauty: simply stunning.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
You do need to pack for different weather conditions but even so do try to pack lightly so you still have space for all the things you will want to buy whilst you are there. Do consider also going to other parts of Argentina to also take in the less-touristy areas.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, these locations are prime visitor sites so clearly they are quite commercial. Even so we were able to meet local people and support local artisans.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fantastic - this was a great trip. We added this week to Buenos Aires, Iguazu and El Calafate on to an independent trip covering the northwestern areas around Salta, Cafayate etc. Although Argentina is a huge and varied country, we felt we saw a great deal of different environments, stunning scenery and met some wonderful people.Holiday Reviews
