1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Our favorite walking day was the foothills of Hochkonig. This is one of the most amazing hikes we have ever done. We loved our challenging final day to the peak of Mount Jenner.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Book travel insurance and definitely bring walking poles. I think that walking poles should be considered necessary on the alpine walks rather than being listed as merely helpful.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes as we stayed in local guesthouses, ate at local restaurants and did our shopping locally. Walking is such a great way to experience an area and much better for the environment than driving.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent - there were a few details in the walking directions that were incorrect but overall everything was excellent.

Good morning Anna Thank you very much for taking the time to offer your feedback, it is much appreciated. Walking up to Mount Jenner is also one of our favourite highlights of our Hochkonig Trek. We're pleased you enjoyed your trip and felt it benefited local people and reduced environmental impacts - this is always our aim at New Experience Holidays. We look forward to hearing from you again in the future. Kind Regards, Emily Lockwood - New Experience Holidays

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Climbing high up into the mountains and seeing stunning views all around.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

I would go for it! There were a couple of walks we didn't do because it was so hot, but there were alternative ways of getting to the next hotel by public transport.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I felt the walking holiday got us away from the tourist hot spots into areas where you were really at one with nature. Absolutely stunning scenery, and the villages felt more authentic.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A fantastic new experience for me and my 15 year old son. We will definitely do it again.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The scenery throughout the trip was wonderful and the most impressive was that everyday the trails were different from the others. Being a fairly small area it was not the same scenery everyday which is something we did not expect.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Use the information booklet received in the mail before your trip, the directions are way more accurate than the one you will receive upon arrival in green packet. We rented E bikes in Weidach and rode through the woods to Seefeld, it was fun and it was a different path from the walk for the second day in Weidach to Seefeld. If you arrive early and have energy we recommend the bikes highly!!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The fact that we stayed in locally owned acomodations is a way to benefit the locals.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Wonderful very well organized, accommodations nice, good food especially in Garmisch.
