1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The husky dog sledging day - it was wonderful - you get your own set of huskies & sledge with a fur rug. Remember your ski goggles thou' - we had a lot of snow & you can go quite fast (particularly if light) - afterwards hot chocolate & homemade cake in a tippee with roaring fire! Fab. The other thing was just playing in the snow - building igloos and snow slides, the right clothes mean you don't get cold and wet. Also had a really good day at the musuem near the botanic gardens. Very hands on and interactive - great for kids (old & young)- we worked up a sweat with all the activities.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

It is really expensive - wine 10 a glass and sprite 5! Don't underestimate - take some wine for the room! Also don't book your Northern lights tour on the last night - ours got cancelled and so we couldn't reschedule it! The hotel was lovely although the room was small for 3 people.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Definately - we spent a fair bit and the contributed to the community via museum donation etc - also the husky company we went with were very in touch with their environment and the dogs and the level of care - I was glad we were able to support them

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was lovely - really good high standards. Victoria (who we booked with) was great and knowledgable. My only wish was she had guided me to book my northern lights tour on the first or second night of my holiday, or suggested I added an extra night in case of a cancellation - it didn't occur to me beforehand that cancelling was a possibility.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The stay at the Tree Hotel was brilliant. The accommodation is great, the food delicious and the people wonderful. The whole experience was great, but probably the dog sledding outing was the stand-out element.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Make sure you have a turn at driving the dog sled! If you're thinking of a visit to the Ice Hotel, go for a day trip, or stay in the warm accommodation. You can see all of the rooms in the actual Ice Hotel, but staying in one of the cold rooms involves a lot of hanging around as you only use your room to sleep in - you can't really relax at -5 degrees!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The Tree Hotel definitely considered the environment - not so sure about Camp Ripan or the Ice Hotel!

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A great experience.
