Reviews for Amalfi Coast small group holiday, Italy

review 31 Aug 2014

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The day on the farm learning about how the lemon farm operates and how to make limoncello and having a go at making our own pizzas in the family oven. My husband would say the best part was the home cooked food - amazing every night! Our guide Elisabetta was also fantastic and made everyone feel welcome and went over and above in looking after us - especially when my husband got sick.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Breakfast is basic, recommend bringing a few cereal bars if you like a big breakfast. Also bring copious amounts of bug spray - as a few of us received a few nasty mosquito bites :)

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes we did - us staying at the aguriturismo means that the family can continue to work on the farm using traditional methods.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was fantastic, we learnt a lot, walked down a lot of steps and ate the most wonderful homemade food.
