Trekking by foot in Wadi Rum with the Bedouin guide.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Learn a few words of Arabic and try the Umm Ali pudding. It looks terrible, but tastes delicious.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes - the guides were all local and clearly cared a lot about the environment they lived in.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Amazing - and the perfect trip with two teenage boys who are very difficult to impress!Louise Norris review 13 Apr 2018
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Petra was just as stunning as expected, if not more so! I also enjoyed the desert experience at the Wadi Rum Space Village Luxury Camp which I would thoroughly recommend. It's the Bedouin version of glamping - nicer than some hotels!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We used this op in the end and Liddy was extremely helpful and thorough.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Although I saw no direct evidence of this I hope it's true. Certainly our Egyptian guide was very knowledgeable and we discussed politics frequently - I feel like we learned a lot about the issues facing Egypt currently. The same would be true of our driver in Jordan, Naim. I felt they were bothvery open about what they were proud of and what concerns both countries faced.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Absolutely excellent - I can't wait to return!Ricarda Mondry review 27 Jul 2017

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Being up in a hot air balloon at sunrise over the river Nile floating over the Valley of the Kings. Quiet, magical and some wonderful views.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a little bit of time to read up on Egypt before - you will get more out of the trip.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes it benefitted local people. The people in the places that we visited desperately need more people to come and visit.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
As good and as memorable as any place that we've been to. This was the first time we've been with a guide over a 9/10 day holiday and it was made enjoyable as all the logistics, research etc that I would normally do for this sort of trip was taken out. It meant that we did more without having our energy used on the organisational stuff.Holiday Reviews
