Reviews for Borneo adventure holidays

review 19 Jul 2016

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Early morning river boat experience viewing 100+ pygmy elephants (with their calves) swim across the river roughly 50 m in front of us. Closely followed by close-up view (from the boat) of salt -water crocodiles -they are very fast!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Do not over-pack on the luggage. It's hot & humid (but bearable) and opportunities to wash clothes during the trip. Make sure you have a good torch (& spare batteries) with you. Must be reasonably fit (and plenty stamina)to get the best out of the holiday. Swimwear and shorts essential, as is adequate sunbloc.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Good inter-action with the local people who in general were very friendly. Sabah, Malaysia is very consevation orientated. They are very keen to show us their conservation efforts and get us on-board to support them.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

First class. Helps too, to be travelling in a small group with whom you mix-in well. Wildlife experiences were exeptional, diverse and numerous. Group leader(s) were excellent and knowledgable.
