Reviews for Trans Mongolian adventure holiday

review 2 Jun 2018

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The most memorable parts of my holiday were, firstly, Moscow that I absolutely loved and where I would like to spend more time, secondly, the Great Wall of China and, thirdly, the cultural show in Ulaanbataar. The most exciting part was seeing the snow!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Nobody notices (or cares) if you wear the same things every day. Take as little luggage as you can. Remember that you have to carry all your luggage around. Have some washing done in the guesthouse on Lake Baikal. Make sure that your camera works and take a phone just in case it doesn't. We were able to charge our electronics on the train. Take warm clothes and a jacket that repels water (or snow).

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

It benefited local people, particularly in Mongolia.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Wonderful trip; had fun; did things I never even dreamed of; met interesting people.
