1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
There is no way to choose one part that was most memorable or exciting because each day offered something special and unique to the holiday. The people, food, views, and experiences were all fantastic!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
~Prepare for some steep grades with loose stone on some trails. Sports shoes, such as cross-trainers, work but a low-ankle hiking shoe would probably provide better traction. Trekking pole was useful, as well. ~Definitely have lunch at Agriturismo I Muri at your midway point of the Tiberina Trail on day 2. You will be so glad you did! ~Mario at Dogana Vecchia is delightful and endearing! ~Love the alpacas with Gianni and Marisa. There is a small shop to purchase some goods, so have some extra space in your suitcase! ~Take the time to visit Center Mola Cassanova for Renewable Energy and the Museum of Santa Croce, if possible, as you make your way to Umbertide. We had the opportunity to meet the mayor of Umbertide, too. A most welcoming town! ~Take the time to talk with your hosts!!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
