1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing Petra.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Hotel in Amman good, hotel in Petra a bit tired looking, one or two issues unresolved Ė safe didnít work in both rooms, fridge in my sisterís room not working Ė reported but nothing done Ė didnít make a fuss as only there two nights. One point that might be worth considering, both on arrival day and arrival day in Petra, might be nice to have meal included in tour price. With regards to actual tour, it would have been nice at time of booking to have the information of the length of travel time each day. Not sure on the day we visited the Dead Sea it was worth all the travelling (we seemed to go round in a very large circle) to go in the Dead Sea, not somewhere you would spend much time, and nothing else to see when there. Possibly attach it to the day Mount Nebo is visited.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I think the local people benefited by the jobs tourism created. Some of the money does go to support conservation which is important at all these beautiful sites. Environmental issues regarding rubbish and recycling is a major issue, litter is everywhere.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Overall holiday great. Driver and guide well presented, polite and helpful. Guide excellent on historic knowledge and a great help with local knowledge Ė i.e. tipping, paying for taxiís.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Our first view of the Treasury in Petra. We made the evening visit and sat in the candlelit entrance for the local songs before the lights were switched on to illuminate it. Stunning!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Just do it! Jordan is a wonderful country with so much to see and do. Although we were with a guide most of the time we were always made to feel welcome wherever we went.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I believe that our visit brought additional business to the local communities. I am unsure whether there was any impact on the environment or conservation.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Loved it. We experienced many new things and saw some spectacular sights.
