Reviews for Northern Lights holiday in Norway, Tromsų and Lyngen Alps

review 12 Feb 2019

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The overnight stay in the crystal lavvo was amazing. Francisco is a great host and we had the luck to see some northern lights. Also the husky hike was very exciting. There are hundreds of huskies on the farm all howling and waiting for you to come, cuddle them and take them for a (very fast) walk :).

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

For the husky hike it is good to have some fitness. The dogs really have power and you need to look where you run, which is not that easy, as it is dark and the terrain is uneven.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

All activities were run by local people. The husky hike is a good thing for the dogs. There are hundreds of huskies and they need exercise during all seasons of the year which would probably not be possible without all the tourists hiking and sledding with them.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was a really great holiday and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the highlights of northern Norway in a very short trip. It is a good mixture of varied activities and leisure time. Nevertheless I have to deduct one point as on the second day before the RIB-tour you have to check-out from the hotel and cannot take a break or a shower after the RIB-tour, which definitely would have been good before traveling to the crystal lavvos.
