Dear Penny, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. It was real pleasure creating your journey to Southern Greece. We just like to add a few things about the responsible character of this tour: Peloponnese depends not only on tourism but on agriculture and livestock, so visiting the area benefits locals in several ways. Tourism professionals (direct impact) and producers via the consumption of local products offered in most restaurants and hotels. We use small-scale hotels, traditional guest-houses and typical pansions. All the accommodations are family-owned. Some of them are "green" hotels since they have adoptadopted environmentally friendly practices. For the self-drive itineraries, as this holiday is, we provide our guests with hire cars, always of new technology with limited gas emissions and from reliable local companies. During this tour, the travellers have the occasion to visit 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visiting the archeological sites and museums, be it cultural highlights or less advertised but of major importance places, helps to the restoration and preservation of the monuments but also to the maintenance of local people's jobs in the sites; by paying the entrance fees.
