1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Finding remote, quiet and unspoiled bays, and beaches with local bars/tavernas.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Take Elpida’s advice. Stay away from Mykonos.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

This was a really good holiday; Elpida made great suggestions and arranged everything for us. Changes before and even during the trip were no problem, and everything ran as smoothly as possible. Hotel choices were all good - clean, comfortable, good breakfasts, well located, etc. The bicycles we were provided were all new or fairly new, good quality and well maintained, and whenever we were supposed to meet cycle providers and/or luggage transport they were always on time and as helpful as possible. I would highly recommend to arrange a Greek island hopping trip.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The day we bicycled around Antiparos. It was fun to bicycle from Paros to catch the small ferry that took us to Antiparos. There was hardly any traffic on Antiparos, the views were spectacular and there was almost always a nice breeze coming off the sea.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Greece is very hilly. Expect to climb some steep hills, sometimes travel in heavy traffic (although all drivers were polite about giving cyclists room), and negotiate uneven pavement and sometimes dirt tracks or beach sand. However, by spending 3 nights on Paros and 4 on Naxos you are able to design your own itinerary based on the suggestions given by the travel agency. You do not have to get from point A to point B.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The hotels we stayed in were family run. We bicycled or walked everywhere and bought food for lunches or dinners from local small markets or tavernas.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was very enjoyable. The perfect mother (early-60s)-daughter (mid-20s) trip for active women.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The cycling tour on Naxos, visiting Christian church and temple of Demeter. Wonderful views. Good hotel Galini. We had very good tips from our host there. The agency was not always easy to reach, by WhatsApp, before the trip, that was a little obstacle to trust all was ok. A client needs to feel reassured with a small personal contact by phone. But once in Greece the guides were very friendly punctual and helpful.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

You can stop and eat in any tavern, at any time, it is easy to just drop by a restaurant. The Greek are easy going people, food is good. House wine is rarely good, unfortunately, so if you can, get bottled wine. Be sure to ask for adresses of restaurants from the guides or local hotel hosts.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I don’t know about the reduced environmental impact, because to get to Greece one must travel by air. But sure, we consumed local produce, and tried to avoid leaving trash behind. We agreed to use less towels in hotels.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A very good trip, well organised, with gps maps, good bikes, good standard hotels, good food. You can recommend warmly this agency.
