1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Stroking the Grey Whales

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Try limiting luggage and take an assortment of clothes for hot/cold /wet weather

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, very much so

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was an interesting holiday and the people on the trip were very amenable. However, I didn't know that by booking a trip on your website I would only be accompanied by German speaking people. I should have been informed of this by the Organiser that I was the only English person booking. I speak very little German and if my roommate hadn't spoke some English I would have been isolated. The Organiser did try and translate but I could not join in with any of the laughter, discussions or general chitchat.

Thank you Margret for your feedback. We are happy to read from you. I just would like to mention that I send you an email before the trip started with the general information that this time you would be the only English speaking person on this tour. You never know how it goes with the bookings. On other tours we had more English native speakers than German once. I think everybody did their best to include you in the group and true not everybody spoke fluently English and the whales do not care about language we just were blessed with wonderful sightings and weather. It was great to have to with us. All the best

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Spending time with the grey whales in San Ignacia - staying eco-lodges by the edge of the water with lovely group meals and days spent watching and luckily, able to touch the nose of a grey whale calf when 'he' and his mother came to see us in our boat!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Nothing major to advise but be prepared for some long journeys on rough roads and tracks, Baja looks deceptively small!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I was pleased that as much as possible we were careful about the trips we were on in terms of environmental responsibility. We had good safe local drivers, both of boats and vans and they seemed to have established relationships with the group leaders. Accomodation was of a good standard without being grand and the food well prepared.I felt we were well supported by local people and I hope they feel our visit benefits them!

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Very good overall, wonderful experiences with the highlights of the grey whales and whale sharks.
