1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing the different animals. We saw more different types of animals than I ever dreamed we would and very close, too!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Take a great camera, binoculars for everyone and a good amount of US cash. Getting money was not that easy, like it is on some trips.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, I felt it did in all those ways! It made me feel really good to be traveling there for just that reason!

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was one of the best trips I have ever been on and I have traveled all over the world!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

We loved the Serengeti most.... and the way Albert, our guide, helped us discover it. Also, Kirirumu camp was fantastic.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Book stays in tented camps. These are much more exciting than lodges and extremely comfortable too.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We don't know enough about how everything is organised to answer this question. It probably depends on how strictly one views these issues. It certainly did not reduce environmental impact since we drove for hours every day to see the wildlife.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent, we loved every minute of it :)

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Watching a herd of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. It was a truly astonishing, primal sight.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Take your time: don't rush from one animal to the next. It's the unexpected interactions between animals that can make the experience so special.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We did feel that local people and agencies were benefiting from this trip (as far as we can tell). I'm sure the revenue from our visits helps conservation. It's rather hard to argue that flying part way round the world then chugging around in a Land Cruiser is particularly environmentally friendly...

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Superb: it exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't go as far as 'reborn', but it was a very special trip.
