1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Hard to choose, but if I had to, the souks! But for my 8 year old, it was the mule ride.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
For children at the younger end of the age bracket, be aware that there are a few long drives. Also be aware that dinner happens at 7 or 7.30, meaning late nights for the younger children.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I think it benefited some local people - a couple of families hosted us for lunch in rural areas, and we hired mules and donkeys a couple of times from local people in rural areas.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Pretty highly - the guide was great, we saw a lot of the country in a short time, and did a reasonable variety of different things. My only reservation is that I think we could have had more variety of cuisine: the menus at the places we ate were very repetitive, and I was a little surprised to find the food quite bland with very little spice indeed. I suspect we mostly got the "tourist" version of local cuisine, and I would have liked to try a wider variety.Holiday Reviews
